AFRICAN GLASS INDUSTRY
West African Glass Industry Plc (WAGI) was
incorporated in Nigeria on 20th April 1972 to take over
the business of Nigerian Glass Co limited in Port Harcourt
with the aim of producing Green and Amber bottle for Beer
and soft Drinks Market. The initial capacity of Plant was
12,000 TPA and was initiated with a loan from Federal Government
and from River State government.
